I have two primary areas of research. The first focuses on labor politics in China, and is specifically concerned with how the state responds to expansive but diffuse worker insurgency. My second area of research looks at process of urbanization in China and how rural to urban migrants are integrated or excluded from the social and economic life of the city. |
